Sean O’Neil serves as a Board Member at DeepGEO, bringing extensive experience in healthcare technology and a commitment to public health innovation. His tenure at Optum and Solera Health has been marked by a focus on leveraging technology to improve health outcomes. Sean’s international work, particularly in Africa, provides him with a global perspective that enriches his contributions to DeepGEO. He is passionate about decarbonization and advocates for using the passive heat from spent nuclear fuel to generate power and provide clean water, viewing this approach as a catalyst for community development. Sean’s vision for DeepGEO centers on transforming nuclear waste into a valuable resource for sustainable global progress.

  • Senior Director, DevOps & SRE, Solera Health (2024 – Present): Leads the development and reliability of Solera’s innovative healthcare platform, which connects members with evidence-based health solutions while managing compliance, claims, and vendor services.
  • Chief Technology Officer, DiaspoCare (2019 – Present): Oversees technological strategies to enable diaspora communities to support their loved ones’ medical needs from anywhere in the world.
  • Vice President of Technology, Optum (1996 – 2023): Directed transformational technology initiatives, including private cloud implementations and IT strategy development, for one of the largest healthcare services organizations in the world.
  • Owner, Rapid eCorp International LLC (2012 – 2019): Founded a pharmacy management platform tailored for emerging markets, managing inventory, insurance billing, vendor services, and loyalty programs focused on diaspora remittances.
